REQUIREMENT FOR PUBLIC SECTOR SOCIAL HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAMME NEW REGISTRATION.

Here is what you need to know to sign up for the Public Sector Social Health Insurance Programme:

  1. 1. Documents: Bring both original and photocopies of:

   – Your Employer ID card

   – Employment letter

   – Last 3 months’ Pay slips

  1. 2. National ID: Have your National Identification Number (NIN) or NIMC Slip.

   – Marriage Certificate or Court Affidavit for your spouse

  1. 4. Family Info: For each family member, provide:

   – Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age

  1. 5. Contact Details: Give us your:

   – Phone number

   – Email Address

  1. 6. Address: Tell us where you live

  1. 7.  State of Origin: Tell us what state you are from

  1. 8. Choice Rights:

   – You can choose your Healthcare Provider (HCP)

   – Your employer can choose the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)

  1. 9. Processing Time: Expect up to 3 months for processing before accessing care.

  1. 10. Registration Fee: Each enrolee needs to pay One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) naira only for the NHIA ID card, excluding bank charges.
