The Private Health Plans are provided by Heath Maintenance Organisations (HMOs) for employed individuals (self-employed people, staff of small, medium or large corporations, families, and community group members)
What it covers
If you sign up for a private health plan, you will have access to doctors’ visits, hospital stays, emergency care and medications. The plan will also cover your spouse and children that are under the age of 18. You may also choose to add more family members, for a small fee.
How it works
Registering is simple. You and your employer (if you have one) contribute an amount based on what you earn. This money creates a fund to pay for health care when you need it.
Other details
After registering for a private health plan, you have the freedom to change your plan, add family members, or switch hospitals as needed.
