He joined the services of the Authority from active private legal practice as a Courtroom and Corporate Attorney. Bar. Sulaiman Ibrahim soared in the Authority, taking up critical positions such as Ag Head of Legal Services, Head of Accreditation Division and Head of HMOs & Allied Services Division. He had served on several Management Committees, including but not limited to: Committee on the Amendment of the NHIS ACT 2004, the revision of the NHIS Operational Guidelines 2012, Health Insurance Under One Roof, NHIS Gateway on BHCPF. Bar. Ibrahim attended ABU Zaria, Nasarawa State University, Keffi and trained at World Bank Group, Washington DC, USA, London, UK, Dubai and Istanbul, Turkey, where he obtained various certificates, inter alia on Health Systems Strengthening, Health Financing and Public Financial Management, Strategic Management of Regulatory and Enforcement Organization, and leadership & Management, respectively. He holds a Masters in Law and Corporate Governance (MLCG). He is presently the Head of Special Duties Office (SDO) in the DG’s Office. Also, he is a researcher in Conflicts and Conflict Management in the Health Insurance Ecosystem in pursuance of his PhD. He is married and blessed with children.
